San Mateo, CA October 10, 2023 - Edgevana, the global leader in democratizing access to Web3, is proud to announce the appointment of Max Kaplan as their new Senior Vice President of Engineering.

Max comes to Edgevana from Kraken, most recently serving as Senior Engineering Director overseeing infrastructure and data engineering. Max joined Kraken as one of the first engineers, responsible for scaling the engineering department to over 600 people. During Max’s tenure at Kraken, he spearheaded and led several engineering initiatives that enabled Kraken to support industry-leading throughput, latency, and availability metrics. This built Kraken into what it is today, one of the most frictionless trading platforms in the world.
