Edgevana Founder and CEO Mark Thiele will be speaking in a panel discussion during the DatacenterDynamics San Francisco virtual conference this October 15th, 2020. Panelists will be discussing “How are advances in computing altering how and where networks are built?” with the following abstract:
The application of cognitive computing has created ever more data, creating pressure on the servers, storage, and network devices housed in a data center. The location of a facility though is under question. There is evidence to suggest that data centers will need to expand to the network edge to meet the demand for compute processing near sources of data generation as a result of artificial intelligence and other applications requiring fast response times not available from traditional data center architectures.”
DCD San Francisco is a virtual conference about the evolution of hyperscale and its impact on the industry. The event runs from October 14th – 16th and will cover major topics such as sustainability and the journey to net-zero data centers, how will hyperscale dominate the edge, industries of the future and the impact of COVID-19.
